After high school I majored in computer science at the University of Maryland. Then it was off to Utah and Colorado for graduate school. Now I work as a software developer for a company that makes software for scientists and image/data analysts.

For fun, my passions lie in the mountains. First it was hiking and backpacking, which transitioned into rock climbing, ice climbing and mountaineering. Then it was road biking and now it's mountain biking. I love endurance events and anything that provides adventure.

About six years ago I got married and now have two little ones. This is the most scary and most wonderful adventure of all.
